About

Meet David

My approach is grounded in connection, honesty, and compassion with a direct approach. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel truly seen and understood, so I focus on meeting you exactly where you are—without judgment or pressure to be “fixed.” Together, we work to build practical tools you can actually use in your day-to-day life, not just in the therapy room. I received an Associates in Human Services from Tacoma Community College and went on to get my Masters of Social Work from the University of Washington. With my lived experience as a person in recovery and my education I strive to help individuals navigate life’s challenges they may be facing. I have over 10 years of experience working with youth and young adults supporting them and their families as a peer, mentor, and case manager. I began my career as a mental health therapist in 2022. Therapy with me is collaborative and authentic. We move at your pace, guided by your goals, while also gently exploring patterns that might be keeping you stuck. My hope is that our work together feels supportive and empowering helping you build confidence in your ability to heal, grow, and move forward with greater clarity and resilience.

“Your roots hold wisdom—therapy helps you listen.”

Meet Dianna

Restoring Hope, One Day at a Time

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who uses my lived experience and education to help others through their experiences. I obtained my Master’s Degree at Pacific Lutheran University in Marriage and Family Therapy and my Bachelor’s degree in Child Development and Family Relations at the University of Maine. I was born and raised in the state of Maine with a close nit family. I have since lived in Washington State for over 16 years and have built a community here. Community is a huge part of my life and passion. I have fed that passion for over 10 years working with youth and families in the Youth Development field and am ready to add private practice to my work. I am trained and see things with a systems lens but in reality, I have always seen the World with a systemic lens. I believe we all interact with our core experiences from our roots and experiences growing up. We then build upon those roots to build our own foundations. In therapy we can clear the weeds to get back to those foundations while also allowing room for new additions. In therapy I use direct strategic strengths-based approach to lead individuals and families to find the tools that help them achieve their goals. I believe we all have the skills to live good, connected lives but sometimes we just get stuck in unhelpful patterns and need assistance to create change. I am passionate about helping people see those patterns and find healthy authentic ways to move forward.
